Basic data recovery (data transfer, can usually be done on-site) – $10 per 5GB ($65 min).

1st level advanced data recovery using special data recovery software (done off-site) – $10 per 1GB (No recovery no charge).

2nd level advanced data recovery using special data recovery software and other techniques (done off-site) – $20 per 1GB (No recovery no charge). Hard drives with severe physical/ mechanical damage may be required to go to clean room for data recovery – we may be able to arrange this service through one of our partners.
Note: 1st and 2nd level recovery no charge if data is not recovered. If data is recovered then there is a $65 minimum charge. Bring me your drive and I’ll attempt to recovery data. If none can be recovered there is no charge.

- Laptop DC-Jack Repair/ Replacement: $100.00 (parts extra) In-Shop Only
- DC-Jack hardware typically cost around $10-20.
Note: While performing a DC-Jack repair on a laptop is usually successful in restoring the laptop to full function, occasionally preexisting damage (seen or unseen) may result in the laptop not working as expected post repair. Sacramento PC Pros does not assume responsibility if laptop is not functioning as expected after the DC-Jack replacement. While we make our best effort to repair the laptop, if for any reason the replacement doesn’t result in a fully functional laptop a motherboard replacement is then recommended. The customer in this case will be billed the cost of the motherboard (prices vary based on laptop manufacturer and model). The labor will remain the same and no extra labor charges incurred. If the customer opts not to go ahead with a motherboard replacement and instead have the non-functional laptop returned to them our standard one time initial debug fee of $65 will be due at the time of laptops return.

Per Hour Charge for General Services Not Listed Above: $65 On-Site/ $55.00 In-Shop

1 hour min, ½ hour billable increments. For example the “General” rate may be used for issues such as intermittent computer power issues (computer just keeps shutting off), BSOD (blue screen of death, can be caused by a myriad of things), no video, etc… In other words nonstandard issues that are not easily defined and take various amounts of time to debug/ troubleshoot. Most of these issues are unique to the situation and time spent on a resolution cannot be determined beforehand; however a general estimate can usually be given prior to the time of service.
